I started having stomach pains on Friday morning. By mid day yesterday I was in the floor in a ball. Brittany (ever the voice of reason) made me go to the emergency room.

The staff in the ER left a bit to be desired. I was in there for nearly 2 hours before the doctor even showed up to give me my diag-nonsense (I knew what it was before he said it), but I did get to watch The 13th Warrior and catch up on some news.

I was admitted shortly after midnight and had surgery about 10:00 this morning.

I am home and better now, minus one appendix.

It’s nothing like the old days. I have three little incisions about the size of a dime (one is probably more like a quarter). It feels like someone kicked me in the stomach and reorganized things a bit, but they didn’t even give me stitches. I am literally glued shut.

Anyway … That’s about all I want to write loaded up on pain pills. Will update later.
